Growing up in a prosperous city with the problem of high population but very limited lands, the field of interior design has seen to be more challenging. Therefore, whenever I walk into a space I like, I would start to investigate how does the interior works spatially and how does the design of the space related to the function. Since I was young, I had a great interest on the field of design, and as I grew older, I started to study on different kinds of design, such as art, textiles, product design and interior design.

Attending a university to study interior design and architecture, has enhanced my knowledge on structures of different frameworks and joints, and the consideration of lights, materials, environment and function within the space. At the 3 years’ time, I have been learning to use different software to communicate and explain to others about my design, and also to show the surrounding atmosphere and context.

 

I have completed a few internships in Hong Kong at one interior design company, and one architect company, and that I was lucky enough to be involved in some of the design meetings and have chances to rise my design options. By working in real practices, I understand how a design or architect company works throughout the design process and can feel the responsibility needs to be taken as a designer.
